The Housing Case Manager will provide case management to participants experiencing homelessness.
Direct Hire Position - company offers health benefits stipend, PTO and Paid Holidays
Pay: $23/hour Monday - Thursday, 9am to 4:30pm Friday, 9am to 2pm Multiple Locations: East Orlando, FL and Ocoee, FL 100% onsite role.

The Housing Case Manager follows established evidenced based best practices to create a safe and stable environments for participants; the CM’s knowledge and understanding of relevant resources is intended to be housing-focused, trauma informed and oriented toward partnering with families and/or individuals by coming along side and walking them toward their goals. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, commitment and adaptability in order to effectively uphold community values while maintaining an environment of dignity, respect and collaboration with participants and partners. As a housing navigator, you will leverage your passion for public service to help the agency’s clients find affordable and safe housing in great neighborhoods throughout the county. You will work closely with authority personnel, landlords, and organizations that have an interest in housing expansion.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment; strong verbal and written communication skills; data management, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills; ability to follow assigned workflows and procedures; ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing demands; standard office computing skills required. Qualifications/Requirements: Understanding of the causes and consequences of homelessness · Knowledge of homeless services, case management, mental health, permanent supportive housing and rapid rehousing experience preferred · Ability to effectively serve a very diverse population with aptitude in the areas of conflict resolution, critical thinking and problem solving · Bi-lingual candidates, veterans and persons with lived experience are encouraged to apply · Participation in bi-weekly Registry meetings, case conferences and other relevant Continuum of Care and/or Coordinated Entry System activities · Welcoming demeanor and strong oral and communication skills · Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office ·
