Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction and industrial equipment in field environments.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment performance checks according to service standards.
- Travel to customer or job site locations to assess equipment issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Document service work, parts usage, repair findings, and maintenance recommendations accurately.
- Communicate professionally with service teams, supervisors, and site personnel regarding repair status and equipment needs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $112,000 to $123,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform field diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment used in construction, infrastructure, and industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel equipment systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance and inspections to support equipment uptime and job site productivity.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate repair recommendations clearly.

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician, field service technician, diesel technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repair practices.
- Experience working with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, engines, and related components.
- Ability to read service manuals, schematics, diagnostic reports, and technical repair instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Professional communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience servicing construction, earthmoving, lifting, paving, or industrial heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, electronic control systems, and manufacturer service software.
- Diesel technology, heavy equipment, or related technical training.
- Welding, fabrication, or advanced hydraulic repair experience.
- Experience supporting equipment used in industrial facilities, infrastructure, or construction environments.
