OA Reference: Behavioral Health Program Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support daily program operations within a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
This temporary, on-site role is responsible for coordinating referrals, conducting outreach to members and providers, maintaining accurate records, supporting appointment scheduling, and assisting with administrative and reporting functions.
The ideal candidate has experience in behavioral health or healthcare support, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role works closely with internal teams, provider partners, and community agencies to help ensure timely coordination of services and a positive member experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and tracking behavioral health referrals
Conducting outreach and follow-up with members and providers
Maintaining accurate data entry and documentation in internal systems
Preparing correspondence, reports, and meeting materials
Supporting provider network coordination and departmental operations
Delivering strong customer service and administrative support
Qualifications
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of two years of recent experience in behavioral health, healthcare coordination, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
Experience supporting patient-centered or care coordination models is a plus.
