We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Health Insurance and Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients' insurance and authorization processes are handled efficiently and accurately. If you have a strong background in health insurance, prior authorization, and EMR systems, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
*Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the EMR system.
*Prior Authorization: Manage and process prior authorization requests, ensuring timely approval for necessary medical services.
*Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of insurance and authorization processes within the EMR system.
*Communication: Liaise with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve any issues related to coverage and authorization.
*Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with healthcare regulations and company policies.
YOU ARE ALREDY GREAT AT THESE:
*Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in health insurance and prior authorization. Proven track record of good employment tenure.
*Skills: Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
*Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
