Job Summary
We are seeking a Health Insurance Representative for a temporary remote opportunity supporting individuals with healthcare coverage questions, applications, eligibility, and plan updates. This call center role is ideal for customer service professionals who enjoy helping people navigate important healthcare decisions while working in a structured, compliance-focused environment. Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from individuals seeking assistance with healthcare coverage options, eligibility, applications, and account updates.
- Process enrollments, terminations, life event changes, and demographic updates accurately in system applications.
- Document customer interactions clearly and completely while following established procedures.
- Provide compliant support related to health plans.
- Escalate complex issues as needed and follow required privacy, security, and HIPAA protocols.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and updates to stay current on system changes and policy requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $17.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temporary contract assignment.
- Assignment length: September through the end of December.
- Work arrangement: Remote, must be located in the United States.
- Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET.
- Training duration: 45 days with 100% attendance required.
- On-camera participation is required during training, meetings, and job preview.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required during enrollment periods.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support inbound healthcare coverage calls in a remote call center environment.
- Process applications, enrollments, terminations, life event changes, and demographic updates.
- Accurately document customer interactions in multiple system applications.
- Follow HIPAA, privacy, and compliance procedures for all customer communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 3 years of customer service or call center experience required.
- Strong communication, data entry, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.
- Ability to work independently in a quiet, private remote workspace free from distractions.
- Must have a compatible personal computer with Windows 10 or MacOS 10.15 or newer, up to 12.5.
- Must have hardwired Ethernet internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Wi-Fi and mobile hotspots are not allowed.
- Must have a USB-wired headset with microphone and noise suppression.
- Webcam is required for training, meetings, and job preview.
