The Health Benefits Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of health and welfare benefit plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding their benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Administer employee health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and with third-party vendors.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA.
Assist with benefits reporting, audits, and open enrollment processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits records.
Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and data integrity.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR support.
Strong knowledge of health and welfare benefit plans and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
