We are seeking a skilled HRIS & Benefits Administrator to join our Human Capital team. This role will be responsible for supporting our Dayforce HRIS/HCM platform and administering employee benefit programs across a multi-state organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical HRIS expertise, proven benefits administration experience, and a collaborative mindset to help drive efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Administration
Support Dayforce HRIS/HCM system, including configuration, testing, reporting, integrations, and data integrity.
Troubleshoot system issues, manage role security, and ensure smooth release cycle management.
Deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics for business leaders and compliance needs.
Partner with IT, vendors, and consultants on system enhancements.
Benefits Administration
Administer health, wellness, retirement, voluntary plans, worker’s compensation, and leaves of absence.
Manage benefit events including open enrollment, new hire, qualifying events, and terminations.
Partner with brokers, vendors, and insurers to resolve benefit-related transactions, data, and communications.
Provide employees with clear, accessible guidance on benefit programs.
Other Responsibilities
Identify and implement process improvements in HRIS and benefits administration.
Support compliance training, documentation, and audits.
Collaborate with Human Capital team on payroll, recruiting, and L&D initiatives as needed.
Model confidentiality, discretion, and a high level of professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and related software.
Experience supporting multi-state, multi-location organizations.
At least 3 years of Human Resources experience with knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines in HR operations and employment law.
At least 3 years of direct experience in both Benefits Administration and HRIS/HCM administration in a multi-state environment.
3 years of hands-on Dayforce (Ceridian) HRIS/HCM experience, including the Benefits module.
Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years Dayforce HRIS/HCM experience as module owner/manager.
5+ years HR experience with benefits administration and HR law in CA/OR/WA.
Experience in banking/financial services and/or unionized environments.
Familiarity with multiple HRIS/HCM systems beyond Dayforce.
HR certifications or formal training in HR, Benefits, or HRIS.
