Key Responsibilities

HRIS Administration:

Serve as a supporting administrator for HR applications, including Dayforce HRIS/HCM.

Stay updated on system enhancements and assist colleagues with training and guidance.

Build and execute system configurations, test plans, role security, and integrations.

Troubleshoot system defects, integration issues, and inaccurate configurations.

Manage HRIS transactions, reporting, dashboards, and regulatory compliance.

Maintain data integrity through automation, governance, and data audits.

Collaborate with vendors, IT, and consultants to resolve system issues.

Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefit programs, including health & wellness, voluntary plans, retirement, and worker’s compensation.

Support open enrollment, new hire events, qualifying events, terminations, renewals, and annual filings.

Partner with brokers, vendors, and insurers to ensure accurate and timely administration.

Communicate benefit plans clearly to employees and leadership.

Assist employees with benefits navigation, building trust through integrity and authenticity.

Other Duties:

Identify and implement process improvements in HRIS and benefits administration.

Provide backup support for payroll, timekeeping, and recruiting functions.

Develop training and educational materials for HRIS and benefits processes.

Complete mandatory compliance training and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in HR operations and employment law compliance.

3+ years in HRIS administration (Dayforce HRIS/HCM, including Benefits module).

3+ years in benefits administration in multi-state, multi-location organizations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web browsers, and other communication tools.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of Dayforce HRIS/HCM experience as module leader/owner/manager.

5+ years of HR experience in CA/OR/WA, supporting multi-state enterprises.

Experience in banking/financial services or unionized environments.

Familiarity with additional HRIS/HCM platforms beyond Dayforce.

Formal HR, benefits, leaves, or HRIS certification.
