A well-established, rapidly growing commercial dealership group is seeking a skilled HR & Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing and core HR functions across multiple California locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.

What You’ll Do

Process accurate semi-monthly payroll (overtime, commissions, bonuses, adjustments).
Review and audit timecards; ensure compliance with CA wage & hour laws.
Maintain payroll accuracy, tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefit deductions.
Manage employee files, HR compliance tracking, and required documentation.
Support recruiting, job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Assist with benefits administration, employee inquiries, and leave tracking.
Prepare HR/payroll reports and support audits.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years HR or payroll experience (multi-location preferred).
Strong knowledge of California labor & wage/hour laws.
Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll system.
Advanced Excel, excellent communication, and high attention to detail.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
