We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist (3–5 years experience) to join our team in an in-office setting. This role is ideal for candidates with strong payroll processing skills, data accuracy, and employee support experience. You will handle payroll data entry, timesheet verification, and employee inquiries while ensuring compliance and accuracy. Qualifications 3–5 years of payroll processing or HR payroll experience
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and data entry tools (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of payroll laws, deductions, and compliance requirements
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive data
Strong communication skills to answer employee payroll questions
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities
Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets for accuracy
Enter and maintain employee data and payroll information in the system
Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions
Process new hires, promotions, and terminations in payroll system
Issue and distribute paychecks and payroll statements
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies or concerns
Investigate and resolve payroll errors or inconsistencies
Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records and documentation
Prepare regular payroll reports for internal use
Manage both electronic and manual filing systems
