AppleOne is seeking an HR Generalist for a leading international organization that recently acquired a key facility in Oldsmar, Florida, we are seeking a high-energy, hands-on HR Generalist to lead the U.S. site operations. Reporting directly to a remote HR Manager in Canada, you will serve as the local HR point of contact, managing the full employee lifecycle for this growing location.
This is a critical "handoff" role. We are looking for a professional to join the team by the end of March to participate in a comprehensive training and transition period with the departing incumbent.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Talent Management: Manage recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes, followed by seamless onboarding and orientation.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and implement initiatives (including satisfaction surveys) to maintain a healthy, productive work environment.
Performance & Development: Coordinate annual appraisals, assist managers with Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and identify/organize training workshops.
Compliance & Policy: Implement and enforce HR policies while ensuring strict adherence to Florida and Federal labor laws and regulatory reporting.
Benefits & Comp: Manage health insurance and retirement programs, assist with employee inquiries, and conduct salary surveys to ensure market competitiveness.
Administration: Maintain precise employee records and HRIS data with a high level of confidentiality.
Qualifications
Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office. Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to work independently while reporting to remote leadership, and a problem-solving mindset.
