A well-established and growing organization in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead and execute day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building strong internal partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
Manage new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience
Serve as a trusted resource to employees and leadership on workplace concerns and employee relations matters
Support managers with performance reviews, feedback processes, and performance improvement planning
Maintain and enforce company policies while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations
Oversee employee benefits administration and respond to benefits-related questions
Assist in compensation planning, market analysis, and salary benchmarking
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and training programs
Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to improve workplace culture
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Prepare and submit required compliance reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within an operational or industrial setting
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
