We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Compliance Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. This newly created role plays a critical part in strengthening our compliance infrastructure, with a primary focus on Employee Investigation Reporting (EIR) across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, document, and submit accurate Employee Investigation Reports (EIRs) in accordance with internal procedures and applicable state/federal laws.

Pull and reconcile employee payroll records to ensure alignment with investigation documentation and audit requirements.

Maintain and update the organization’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and related reporting.

Track and monitor mandatory employee training, including Sexual Harassment Prevention and Workplace Violence training.

Partner with department managers to ensure timely completion and documentation of all compliance-related initiatives.

Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Maintain organized and secure digital HR compliance records.

Support the broader HR team with additional compliance and reporting projects as needed.

Qualifications:

2–4 years of experience in HR compliance, employee relations, or a similar HR function.

Strong understanding of federal and California state labor laws, including EEO, AAP, and training requirements.

Prior experience handling confidential investigations and EIR documentation is highly preferred.

High level of attention to detail, particularly with data reconciliation and reporting accuracy.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/EMR systems, and digital file management.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
