HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a fast-paced team and support a wide range of Human Resources functions. Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies and procedures
Support employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns
Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts for open positions
Administer onboarding and new hire orientation
Manage benefits administration, open enrollment changes, and employee benefit communication
Assist with leave of absence administration including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and ADA-related matters
Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant
Support background checks and employment eligibility verification
Create and distribute internal HR communications
Stay current on federal and California employment laws and compliance requirements
Partner with leadership on talent management, employee support, and HR best practices
Qualifications
2+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar HR role
Strong background in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance
Knowledge of California and federal employment laws
Experience with leave administration including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, FEHA, ADA, AAP, CAL-EEOC, FLSA, and HIPAA
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
Experience with ADP HRIS preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
