We are seeking a bilingual HR Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Carolina, PR. This role is ideal for a motivated Human Resources professional who enjoys supporting employees, maintaining accurate HR records, assisting with payroll, and helping daily HR operations run smoothly.
The HR Assistant will support a professional real estate and property management environment where organization, confidentiality, teamwork, and responsive employee service are essential. This is a great opportunity to build long-term HR experience with a stable schedule, supportive team environment, and exposure to key HR functions such as recruitment, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee relations support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily Human Resources operations, including employee records, documentation, payroll coordination, and HR administrative tasks.
- Assist with recruitment activities, candidate communication, onboarding support, and employee file maintenance.
- Help process payroll information and support benefits administration with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide employee support by answering HR-related questions and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Assist with HR reporting, presentations, training materials, and Microsoft Office documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality while working under deadlines and supporting multiple HR priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Overtime: Available as needed.
- Location: Carolina, PR.
- Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee recordkeeping.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee communication, and HR documentation.
- Prepare reports, training materials, presentations, and administrative HR support.
- Maintain confidential employee information while meeting deadlines and supporting daily HR operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and employee support processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and assist with employee training presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- ADP payroll experience preferred.
