Position Overview
The Human Resources Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the HR Director while assisting across a variety of HR functions. This role is designed as a temp-to-hire opportunity, with potential for conversion based on demonstrated performance, reliability, and cultural alignment.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in building a long-term career in human resources, possesses foundational HR and payroll experience, and demonstrates the ability to work independently with discretion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Director
Assist with HR audits, compliance checks, and documentation management
Generate, pull, and format reports from the HRIS system
Serve as payroll backup, with the ability to independently run a full payroll cycle within 90 days
Support various HR functions including benefits administration, leave of absence (LOA), recruitment, and general operations
Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; demonstrated ability to quickly learn new platforms
High level of discretion in handling confidential employee and compensation data
Demonstrated commitment to a long-term career in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PeopleGuru or similar HRIS/payroll platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Paycom, Rippling, BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now)
Experience processing payroll in a mid-sized organization
Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, garnishments, and multi-cycle payroll runs
Flexibility in supporting a wide range of administrative and HR-related tasks

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to independently manage routine tasks after training
Sound professional judgment and discretion
Reliability and consistency under both routine and high-pressure situations
A proactive, “roll-up-your-sleeves” team-oriented mindset
Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and respect role boundaries
Adaptability and awareness in dynamic work environments

Additional Skills

Minimum of 2 years of HR administrative experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or HR certification preferred)
Hands-on exposure to payroll processes required
Must be a local candidate
