Human Resources Assistant with Accounting Experience
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant with a strong background in accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accounting principles and practices, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Process deposits and apply payments to AR
Enter invoices into BILL.com and process weekly payments
Handle credit card charges and perform reconciliations
Human Resources
Review employee timesheets and submit updates to payroll processor
Assist with onboarding new hires, including I-9 processing and file setup
Maintain accurate and organized employee records
Administrative & Office Support
Provide backup coverage for front desk and customer service during absences
Assist with ordering office supplies and managing inventory
Open and distribute incoming mail; prepare and mail marketing materials
Qualifications:
Experience in both HR and accounting roles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
Proficiency with BILL.com and payroll systems preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
