Shift differentials apply: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr, 3rd shift +$1.50/hr
Shift Availability
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Flexibility required—workers may need to stay past scheduled shift end if work is not completed.
Position Objective
This role supports the day-to-day operations of the plant and warehouse, with a strong focus on seed treatment, seed counting, and packaging operations. Responsibilities include operating both manual and automated equipment, ensuring accuracy in seed counts, bag weights, inventory, treatment application, and overall packaging quality while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Manufacturing
Seed production, ginning, or seed conditioning
Farm or mechanical-related work
Proven knowledge of OSHA safety standards, including:
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Confined Space Entry (CSE)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to lift and handle 50 lb bags as needed
Additional medical clearances required (beyond drug screening)
Required Skills & Competencies
Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment repair
Ability to stack bags and perform physical labor
