Job Title: General Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity of financial information, maintain accurate accounting records, and support compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, organizational excellence, and a high level of accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow internal control systems to maintain the integrity of financial and accounting information, promote accountability, and prevent fraud.

Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure timely posting of journal and ledger entries.

Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Monitor account reconciliation processes and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.

Assist in tax preparation, audits, and resolving accounting discrepancies.

Manage payroll, tax return reports, and payments in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Oversee and record all bank transactions and ensure proper data management.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Identify and implement accounting solutions to improve efficiency and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).

Proven experience in general accounting or a similar role.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Service-oriented mindset with strong ethical standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
