The Garage Door Technician role combines technical troubleshooting, customer service, and consultative sales. Technicians visit residential customers to diagnose garage door and opener issues, recommend solutions, complete repairs and installations, and provide an exceptional customer experience.


The compensation structure for San Diego is:

- $25/hour during training (up to 8 weeks)

- After training: 100% commission

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, sales, home services, construction, or a related field. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, comfortable explaining technical information and recommending solutions, have strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a field-based environment.
