We are hiring Garage Door Technicians for direct-hire opportunities serving residential customers throughout the San Diego, CA area. This field-based role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands-on work, customer interaction, problem solving, and consultative service.

This opportunity offers structured paid training, the ability to build a long-term career in a high-demand home services trade, and the chance to work independently while being supported by an experienced service and leadership team. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, sales, construction, maintenance, automotive, HVAC, electrical, or other hands-on service roles are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to residential customer locations throughout the San Diego area to diagnose garage door and opener issues.
- Perform garage door repairs, adjustments, part replacements, and installations.
- Explain technical issues and service options clearly to homeowners.
- Recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions using a consultative approach.
- Provide professional, reliable, and customer-focused service during each appointment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work approach while representing the service team in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct-hire opportunity.
- Pay is $25 per hour during training for up to 8 weeks.
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- After successful completion of training, compensation transitions to a 100% commission-based structure.
