A small, family-owned healthcare services business in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its team on a direct hire basis. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Desktop and ensure transactions are properly coded and documented.
- Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and month-end close support as needed.
- Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, customer billing, and internal bookkeeping processes.
- Support ownership or management with financial information, reporting accuracy, and day-to-day accounting needs.
- Help maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and basic accounting standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage day-to-day full charge bookkeeping operations for a small business environment.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Support general ledger activity, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end bookkeeping processes.
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and confidentiality in all financial documentation.
- 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping, full charge bookkeeping, or related accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with leadership and team members.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a small business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare services or a related service-based business.
- Prior experience supporting a family-owned or closely held business.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, reconciliations, and data review.
- Experience assisting with month-end close, payroll coordination, or financial reporting.
