Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including daily accounting activity and month-end close support.
- Manage accounts payable, including construction-related AP releases, lien releases, vendor documentation, and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process payroll using ADP and support accurate payroll documentation.
- Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks Desktop and assist with job costing and construction accounting activities.
- Prepare financial reports, support management with accounting information, and ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
- Starting salary of $85,000 annually.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping from daily transactions through month-end close.
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Support job costing, construction accounting activities, and management reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks Desktop and payroll records using ADP.
- 3+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop.
- Experience processing payroll through ADP.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, account reconciliations, general ledger activity, and month-end close.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and follow established accounting policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in a union environment.
