Full Charge Bookkeeper (Construction Industry)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Location: Poway, CA
We are seeking a knowledgeable Full Charge Bookkeeper with construction industry experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, payroll processing, accounts payable, and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping functions through month-end close
Manage accounts payable, including construction-related AP releases and lien releases
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
Process payroll using ADP
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting in QuickBooks Desktop
Assist with job costing and construction accounting activities
Prepare financial reports and support management with accounting needs
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting procedures
Qualifications:
Full charge bookkeeping experience within the construction industry
Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop
Experience and processing payroll through ADP
Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Labor compliance and union payroll experience are a plus but not required
Union environment experience preferred but not mandatory
We are not seeking a CPA or accounting expert, but rather a hands-on bookkeeping professional who can confidently manage daily accounting operations and month-end processes.
