Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Onsite)
Salary: $72,000–$75,000 annually

We are seeking a sharp, hands-on Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Downtown Los Angeles. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role owns day-to-day accounting operations for multiple restaurant locations and event planning services within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate brings deep, practical experience in restaurant or event-based accounting, thrives in the details, and takes full ownership of the books from A to Z.
Key Responsibilities:
Own full-cycle accounting for multiple restaurant locations and event operations
Handle AP/AR, payroll coordination, bank and credit card reconciliations, and general ledger management
Prepare and post journal entries; lead month-end close and account reconciliations
Track cash flow, deposits, POS activity, and event revenue reconciliation
Prepare internal financial reports and support budgeting and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and industry regulations
Partner closely with operations, vendors, and management to support financial accuracy and decision-making
Qualifications:
Proven full-charge bookkeeping or staff accounting experience in restaurant, hospitality, or event planning industry (required")
Experience supporting multi-location or high-volume operations strongly preferred
Hands-on, detail-driven professional with demonstrated job stability
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting and POS systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
