AppleOne is pleased to partner with a company in Irvine seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and taking ownership of full-cycle bookkeeping across a diverse portfolio of assets, properties, investments, construction projects, vehicles, yachts, and related business interests. Required Qualifications and Skills
The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will work in a trusted accounting support role where accuracy, confidentiality, follow-through, and sound judgment are highly valued. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is a must!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions for personal properties, corporate properties, investments, construction projects, and other assets.
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, tenant rent invoicing, check processing, daily cash reporting, and bank transfers.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements, cash flow reports, journal entries, and monthly financial packages.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages, loans, escrow statements, check registers, and intercompany transactions in QuickBooks.
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, construction project spreadsheets, insurance records, loan files, and supporting documentation.
- Provide tax and year-end support, including 1099 preparation, reconciliations, and financial documentation for accountants.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $35.00 per hour.

- Prepare year-end documentation, 1099 support, and financial reporting packages.
- 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or general ledger experience.
- Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and spreadsheet-based tracking or reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple entities, assets, accounts, or projects with accuracy and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting real estate, property accounting, construction project accounting, investments, or high-asset portfolio bookkeeping.
- Experience preparing 1099 documentation and supporting accountants with tax and year-end reporting.
- Familiarity with fixed assets, depreciation schedules, insurance records, loan files, escrow statements, and mortgage reconciliations.
