We are seeking a Fulfillment Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse and order fulfillment environment in San Antonio, TX. This hands-on role is a great fit for dependable candidates who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and contributing to accurate, on-time customer shipments.
As a Fulfillment Associate, you will receive inventory, pick and pack customer orders, scan products, prepare packages for shipment, and help keep warehouse operations running smoothly. No previous warehouse experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. This opportunity offers a supportive operations environment, clear daily goals, and the chance to build practical warehouse, inventory, and shipping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Pick customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack products securely, apply shipping labels, and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Scan and confirm orders in the warehouse system to support order accuracy.
- Sort, stage, and organize packages while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory and help meet daily productivity goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Interview process: Virtual screening interview, virtual interview with top selected candidates, then offer.
- Receive and process incoming inventory in a warehouse environment.
- Pick, pack, scan, label, sort, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Maintain order accuracy, productivity, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading, counting, and order verification skills.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented warehouse environment.
- Availability for flexible shifts, weekends, and peak-season overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
- Familiarity with handheld scanners, pick lists, or warehouse management systems.
