Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced French-Canadian Customer Service Representative for a fully remote, temp-to-hire opportunity supporting customers in a fast-paced insurance contact center environment. This bilingual customer service role is ideal for someone fluent in English and French-Canadian who enjoys helping people, resolving concerns, and maintaining accurate information in a structured, compliance-focused setting.
This is a customer service position with no sales responsibilities. The role offers a supportive, team-oriented environment with clear procedures, coaching, product training, and opportunities to build long-term knowledge in a stable customer support function. Candidates who value professionalism, accuracy, teamwork, and consistent communication will be well positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls and provide timely, accurate support for questions, concerns, and service-related issues.
- Make outbound verification calls to external partners, contacts, or customers as needed.
- Respond professionally to customer correspondence and information requests via email.
- Review documentation, maintain accurate records, and update customer information in internal systems.
- Perform data entry while following established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members while meeting productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Provide bilingual customer support in English and French-Canadian through inbound calls, outbound verification calls, and email correspondence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, complete data entry, and update customer records in internal systems.
- Follow established processes, policies, and regulatory requirements in a compliance-driven insurance environment.
- Support team goals by meeting productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
- Fluent in English and French-Canadian, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, contact center operations, administrative or clerical support, data entry, or a regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email communication.
- Ability to manage customer concerns, de-escalate challenging situations, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfortable working within established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software systems and navigate multiple applications at the same time.
- Typing speed of 7,000 or more alpha-numeric keystrokes per hour.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Dependable, adaptable, team-oriented, and open to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both contact center and administrative or document review environments.
- Experience supporting customers in both English and French-Canadian.
- Background in insurance, regulated industries, compliance-driven environments, or highly process-oriented settings.
- Experience managing documentation, records, and data accuracy while maintaining strong customer service standards.
