Freight Claims Coordinator (Contract)
Jacksonville, FL – Onsite - 32202
Pay Rate: $35–$39/hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Start Date: ASAP
The ideal candidate will bring experience in logistics, transportation, freight claims, investigations, compliance, or other operational environments requiring analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and evaluate a high volume of freight and product claims
Investigate defective product issues and determine appropriate resolutions
Review, document, and process claims using internal systems
Handle inbound and outbound customer communication professionally and efficiently
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues
Apply negotiation and problem-solving skills to settle claims and disputes
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
Analyze claim trends and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, supply chain, or claims processing strongly preferred
Background in automation, rail/train logistics, AML fraud, investigations, or other complex problem-solving environments highly valued
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Experience working within compliance and regulatory environments
