Freight Agent must have experience with Ocean & Air Import experience.
Experience with CargoWise is preferred but not required.
Your duties might include:
Keeping shipping records up-to-date and accurate, routing shipments according to company policies, and monitoring shipments throughout the entire journey.
Timely and accurate movement of freight and information, without compromising on customer service within the Air & Ocean Department.
Major duties and responsibilities include – tracking and tracking shipments, preparing and processing documentation including house and master air/ocean waybills, dispatching freight, monitoring reports, communicating with customers, vendors, and co-workers; meeting key performance indicators, and escalating of problems to management when necessary.
The most sought-after skills include the following – exceptional interpersonal skills, the proven ability to listen and communicate, strong organization and prioritization skills, attention to detail, proficient computer skills, solid data entry skills with high accuracy rate, email, internet and Excel, and a desire for a career in Supply Chain/logistics.
