Overview:
We’re partnering with a newly formed, minority-owned commercial construction firm backed by two established companies. This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to become the founding hire and lead the company’s efforts in both business development and project execution.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing commercial construction projects in public works and/or theme park environments, particularly those with ties to Walt Disney World or similar attractions. This person must be a self-starter with the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and manage multimillion-dollar projects with excellence.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead business development efforts with public and private clients
• Build and manage strategic relationships across municipalities, developers, and entertainment organizations
• Oversee the full life cycle of commercial construction projects
• Ensure timelines, budgets, compliance, and safety standards are met
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
• Serve as the right hand to the founding partners in growing and shaping the company
Requirements:
• 10–12+ years in commercial construction with proven leadership in public works or theme park environments
• PMP certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong background in both project delivery and business development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow something meaningful from the ground up
