Are you a seasoned professional in land development with a passion for shaping communities from the ground up? A leading residential builder is expanding its division and seeking a Forward Planning / Entitlement Manager to join their team in Santa Clarita.
This is a high-impact role for someone with 10+ years of experience in Forward Planning or Entitlement, ready to take ownership of multiple projects and drive them through the critical early stages of development.
?? What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage entitlement processes including zoning, plan approvals, permitting, and coordination with government agencies.
• Start with 4 active projects, with the goal of scaling to 8 simultaneously.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, environmental consultants, and acquisition teams.
• Support due diligence efforts for land acquisition.
• Oversee and coordinate entitlement contract work.
• Serve as a liaison with trade partners and internal stakeholders.
? What We’re Looking For
• Proven expertise in Forward Planning or Entitlement within residential construction.
• Deep understanding of the three pillars of land development: Acquisition, Forward Planning/Entitlement, and Infrastructure.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
