Qualifications:

Position is responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks as required. The role is responsible for promoting a Safety-First culture while operating a fork-lift. Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping throughout the warehouse and taking ownership of individual areas of the warehouse and suggesting improvements. Ensure all material stored in the warehouse adheres to the site safety and segregation policies. Maintain accurate inventory through utilization of good warehousing practices and accurate reporting of physical movements and trouble shoot inaccuracies. Follow all established site procedures/ SOP’s and propose improvements for betterment of site operations.
Responsible for moving approved inventories of raw materials, AI’s and finished product to designated areas as required.

Education:
High School or GED- Required

Experience:
1-5 Years Warehouse and Forklift Experience. We will certify on forklift after hired even if candidate already has forklift certification.
Good math and communication skills.
Good physical condition and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in warehouse/production environment and performing shipping and receiving activities.

NOTE: Will be working at the Tifton facility

Responsibilities:
Principal Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks supporting day-to-day shipping to customers, receiving from vendors and other BASF sites and production movements.
Complete all required warehouse requisition paperwork by Lot# and QTY between storage locations to track physical material movements at the site.
Ensure FIFO is always followed while moving materials between storage locations or sites.
Maintain clean and orderly warehouse, supporting site housekeeping efforts, and execute tasks to ensure we are adhering to BASF Storage and Segregation policies. Develop advanced knowledge of policies.
Ensures all outbound activity both domestic and exports are compliant with DOT, IMDG, IATA, FIFRA transport and regulatory requirements. Develop advanced knowledge of policies.
Inspect forklift and report/complete necessary paperwork on forklift and other equipment condition daily.
Assist in periodic inventory cycle counts and yearly physical inventories and ability to trouble shoot inventory discrepancies.
Support inventory accuracy and operational excellence through 1) Verifying physical appearance and condition of product prior to loading/ unloading and trouble-shoot. 2) Comparing Article# and Description Vs. Shipment paperwork, 3) Validating Lot#‘s and QTY Vs. BOL/ Delivery note. 4) Verifying seals on inbound/ outbound shipments.
Completes all required FIFRA, DOT training as required on-time.
Ability to review inventory status and availability in SAP. Ability to trouble-shoot inventory issues. Ability to print out, update receipt and shipment information in SAP with minimal support.
Hazwoper Training and back-up to the Warehouse Assistant and/ or Supervisor as needed.
Understand and be able to execute daily Warehouse shutdown procedures.
Ability to serve as back up for shipping and receiving activities in any absence.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
