Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire warehouse opportunity in Idaho Falls, ID. This role is a great fit for a warehouse professional with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on work, organized material handling, and being part of a productive team environment.

The Forklift Operator will support daily warehouse operations by moving materials, picking and packing orders, labeling shipments, assisting with inventory, and helping maintain a clean and safe workspace. Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift safely to move, stack, load, and organize products and materials.
- Receive, pick, pack, label, and prepare warehouse materials for shipment.
- Complete inventory counts, stock checks, audits, and basic material verification tasks.
- Process returns, warehouse transfers, and material movement requests accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment.
- Follow warehouse procedures to support efficient daily operations and on-time order fulfillment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Six days per week will be required for the first 2 months.
- Contract duration: Through March 2027, with possible extension.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials.
- Pick, pack, label, receive, ship, and transfer warehouse inventory.
- Support inventory counts, returns processing, audits, and stock verification.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse workspace.

- 1 to 2 years of warehouse, forklift, equipment operation, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and follow warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to read labels, verify quantities, and maintain accurate material records.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work in a hands-on warehouse environment and stay productive throughout the shift.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or warehouse operations environment.
- Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and warehouse transfers.
- Forklift certification or prior formal forklift training.
- Flexibility to work six days per week during the first 2 months of the assignment.
