We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Idaho Falls, ID. This role is ideal for a warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on equipment operation, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and working as part of a team-focused production and warehouse environment.
The Forklift Operator will support daily warehouse operations by moving products, picking orders, completing inventory tasks, and helping keep materials organized and ready for shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, receive, stage, and ship products safely and efficiently.
- Pick, audit, and process SAP orders using pick lists and warehouse procedures.
- Perform receiving, put-away, cycle counts, inventory audits, transfers, and bin maintenance.
- Relabel, repackage, inspect, and return products to inventory when appropriate.
- Support trailer loading, warehouse rearrangement, driver requests, and daily shipping needs.
- Troubleshoot routine warehouse and shipping issues while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Note: Schedule will be 6 days per week for the first 2 months of the assignment.
- Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Idaho Falls, ID.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to support shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
- Pick and audit orders, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Inspect, relabel, repackage, and process returned products.
- Support warehouse organization, trailer loading, and daily operational problem solving.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift and warehouse experience required, with 6 months considered and 1+ year preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 56 lbs. as needed.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform basic math and use standard warehouse equipment.
- Ability to operate a sweeper and scrubber.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Medical screening required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of forklift and warehouse experience.
- Experience with SAP, warehouse management systems, or computerized order picking.
- Prior experience with shipping, receiving, inventory audits, cycle counts, and trailer loading.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or production support environment.
