Position Overview
Responsible for alerting customers to pick up incoming packages
Ship outgoing packages accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Temporary position (approximately 4 months) with potential for temp-to-hire
Extensive standing, walking, and lifting required
Equipment used: pallet jack and possible forklift

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Exceptional customer service skills
Basic computer skills (typing, sending emails, etc.)
Previous forklift certification (Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-Down)
RF scanner experience required
Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
Minimum 1 year stand-up forklift experience (Reach or Dock Stocker)
Strong math and reading comprehension skills
Ability to write legibly
Ability to follow directions and meet established timelines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
Team lift required for items over 50 lbs
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with normal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment
Perform shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment functions
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety policies
Use RF equipment to process inbound, outbound, and internal orders
Ensure all transactions are accurate in item and quantity
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
Provide cross-training support to other departments as needed
Perform stock consolidation to maximize warehouse space
Maintain 5S standards in assigned work area
Meet productivity and quality standards set by department manager
Inspect and QA outbound freight to ensure correct items and prevent damaged shipments
Palletize and load shipments to prevent transit damage
Load LTL, TL trailers, and vans
Inspect inbound freight for quantity and damage and complete BOL documentation
Follow all department Standard Work Instructions
Complete daily forklift inspection checklist and report equipment issues
Perform C-TPAT compliance inspections and documentation for international shipments
Maintain warehouse security per C-TPAT policy
Perform all other duties as assigned
