Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: On-site
Pay Rate: $16.98/hr

Important Notice
This is NOT a temp-to-hire position. The site requires support only during a designated time period to assist with filling drums and totes. Any misunderstanding of this assignment’s duration or intent will not be tolerated.

Job Summary
The site is seeking a Forklift Operator to support package filling and material handling operations. This role allows experienced plant personnel to remain focused on production while the Forklift Operator handles packaging-related tasks. The position involves operating a packaging line, handling filled liquid products, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move materials to and from the warehouse
Support packaging line operations (simple tasks such as pushing a button to fill totes or drums)
Fill, label, and package drums and totes (liquid products)
Label drums, totes, and pallets accurately
Handle totes, IBCs, pallets of filled drums, and occasional pallets of powdered raw materials
Stack goods in designated storage bays following inventory instructions
Check loads to ensure they are secure
Stack and organize empty pallets
Perform daily equipment checks, including battery charging
Examine products to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Communicate daily with process technicians/operators and follow assigned directions

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant)
Comfortable operating a packaging line
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety
Good math, reading, and communication skills
Basic computer skills preferred
Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain records
Ability to work safely around liquid and powdered materials
Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
