We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations for a well-established manufacturing facility in Altavista, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a stable team and work consistent daytime hours.

Forklift Operator – Altavista, VA
$16/hr | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
* Overtime paid at time and a half

Responsibilities

* Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane powered forklifts
* Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
* Stage materials for production and shipping
* Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
* Perform basic equipment checks

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Previous forklift or material handling experience preferred
* Ability to lift and move materials as needed
* Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment
