Responsibilities
Support attorneys by preparing and filing legal pleadings related to foreclosure proceedings, including summonses, complaints, and motions across multiple Florida jurisdictions.
Handle essential tasks for managing judicial cases such as reviewing dockets, monitoring judge-specific rules and practices, scheduling hearings, filing or amending motions, and closing/dismissing files as needed.
Perform legal research to assist with case preparation and litigation strategies.
Keep case files well-organized and updated to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Act as a point of contact with clients, courts, and other parties to collect information and provide status updates.
Track case timelines and ensure all filing and court deadlines are met.
Provide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, coordinating mailings, and maintaining attorney calendars.

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a law firm or legal department, with a focus on foreclosure or litigation matters.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Paralegal certification or formal training in paralegal studies.
Knowledge of Florida state and federal foreclosure procedures.
Proficiency with case management platforms, particularly Perfect Practice.
Experience with e-filing systems and other legal technology tools.
