Job Description:
As a Foreclosure Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from borrowers regarding their defaulted mortgages. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that all interactions are professional and positive. This is a self-directed, detail-oriented role where initiative and accuracy are key to success. You will also work with vendor-related software to manage mortgage accounts and assist with other related tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls from borrowers regarding defaulted mortgages and provide solutions.
Ensure clear, professional communication in all borrower interactions.
Edit and proofread your work for accuracy in grammar, spelling, and clarity.
Maintain and update mortgage accounts using vendor-related software.
Manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Typing speed of 50 WPM.
Prior experience in the mortgage industry, escrow, servicing, or direct foreclosure is preferred.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work independently.
