A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Part-Time Food Safety Coordinator to support food safety and quality compliance initiatives within a production environment.
This role is responsible for maintaining food safety programs, supporting compliance efforts, conducting inspections, managing documentation, and assisting with audits and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update food safety programs and related documentation
Monitor operations to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Conduct routine inspections of food handling, storage, sanitation, and facility conditions
Manage logs, corrective actions, customer complaints, and supplier records
Support internal audits and third-party inspections
Assist with employee food safety training and guidance
Partner with leadership to maintain and improve food safety systems
Required Qualifications
HACCP Certification
SQF Certification
Experience within a food manufacturing environment
Knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Food or beverage manufacturing experience
Quality Assurance or Food Safety experience
Audit preparation and inspection support experience
SQF program exposure
Schedule
Monday through Thursday
Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM
Flexible end time
Approximately 32 hours per week
Qualified candidates must possess both HACCP and SQF certifications to be considered.

- HACCP Certification is required.
- SQF Certification is required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and documentation practices.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with production, quality, and leadership teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support employee food safety training and guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience.
- Quality Assurance or Food Safety experience.
- Audit preparation and inspection support experience.
- SQF program exposure.
