We are hiring a Food Quality Assurance Technician!

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the production process. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates with relevant education or food industry experience.



Key Responsibilities:

Perform sampling and testing of ingredients and finished products.
Conduct GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality, and production inspections.
Maintain accurate QA records, reports, and documentation.
Identify and communicate food safety and quality concerns.
Verify product compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Conduct pre-operational and routine facility inspections.
Use testing equipment including thermometers, metal detectors, scales, gauges, calipers, pH meters, and ovens.
Collaborate with Production and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
Place products on hold when quality or food safety concerns arise.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Food manufacturing experience or science-related coursework preferred.
Strong communication, math, and critical-thinking skills
Basic computer and spreadsheet proficiency.
Excellent attention to detail and reliability
HACCP or food safety training preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and humidity.
Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
