Job Title: Fiscal Technician (Medical Billing)
Location: Conway, SC
Pay: $15-$17/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Fiscal Technician to join a busy Clinical Billing Office. While medical billing experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with general billing or light accounting experience who are eager to learn and grow in a healthcare setting!
Key Responsibilities
-Process and submit monthly billing for Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, managed care, and self-pay accounts
-Accurately post payments to appropriate client accounts
-Reconcile payments and research/resolve outstanding claims
-Assist with troubleshooting billing issues and maintaining billing systems
-Support staff with billing-related questions and training as needed
-Perform additional administrative or billing duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Experience in medical billing preferred, but not required
-Open to candidates with light accounting, billing, or office experience
-Comfortable learning and navigating EHR systems and billing software
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay on track
-Professional communication skills with both staff and clients
-Knowledge of third-party payors (Medicare/Medicaid) is a plus
