Job Summary
A Financial Support Specialist is needed for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC, supporting finance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong SAP, SRM, Excel, purchase order, invoicing, and accounting support experience.
The Financial Specialist will assist with day-to-day financial operations, including purchase order entry, invoice processing, goods receipts, accrual support, data validation, and reporting. This is a non-client-facing support role within a collaborative finance team, offering the opportunity to contribute to accurate financial processes in a global business environment.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, exposure to cross-functional finance operations, and the chance to work with supportive leadership in a structured, team-focused setting. Responsibilities
- Enter, track, and maintain purchase orders in SAP, including SRM-related activity.
- Process invoices, goods receipts, and related financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with monthly accruals, reclasses, reporting, and financial close support.
- Perform data validation to help ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and use Confluence for order tracking and team coordination.
- Provide general finance and administrative support to the Finance Lead and broader finance team.
- Support purchase order, invoicing, goods receipt, and financial transaction processes.
- Assist with monthly accruals, reclasses, reporting, and financial data validation.
- Coordinate daily finance support activities using team tools such as Confluence.
- Provide accurate, timely support to the finance team in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Work location: Greenville, SC.
- Hybrid schedule.
- No travel required.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant finance, accounting, or financial operations support experience.
- Strong SAP experience, including SRM.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with financial data, reports, and validations.
- Strong finance or accounting background with an understanding of purchase orders, invoicing, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently, manage details, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn processes, ask effective questions, and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global company environment.
- Prior experience supporting finance operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot.
