Job Summary
A well-established real estate and property management organization in the Del Mar area is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join its finance team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys complex financial modeling, property-level forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate forecasting models, supporting investor and board reporting, and partnering with finance leadership on annual planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain Argus property-level models for leasing activity and forecasting needs.
- Reconcile Argus models to the MRI accounting system to support accuracy and consistency in financial projections.
- Assist the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with board presentations, investor materials, annual budgets, and corporate planning guidelines.
- Prepare financial analysis, reporting, and modeling to support business planning and decision-making.
- Partner with accounting, leasing, and finance teams to validate assumptions, review data, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Support process improvements related to budgeting, reporting, and property-level financial analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $130,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Maintain and update Argus property-level financial models.
- Reconcile Argus forecasting data to MRI accounting system information.
- Support board slides, investor presentations, annual budgets, and corporate planning guidelines.
- Prepare complex financial models and analysis for real estate portfolio reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with finance leadership and cross-functional business partners.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and professionally.
- Management-level experience or readiness to operate at a manager level within an FP&A function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, property management, commercial real estate, or a related industry.
- Working knowledge of Argus and MRI or similar real estate financial modeling and accounting systems.
- Experience supporting investor presentations, board reporting, or executive-level financial materials.
