Job Posting: Trade Settlement Analyst
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Settlement Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the settlement process to fulfill Trade Program commitments for a designated group of customers. The successful candidate will handle deduction clearing, payments by check, and preauthorize credits, while also supporting the resolution of pricing-related deductions and non-trade claims.
Schedule & Compensation
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay: $31–$33 per hour
• Start Date: Immediate
• Workplace Type: Hybrid
• Contract Type: 1-year temporary contract with potential for permanent placement
Qualifications
• Education: BS in Business Administration or Accounting preferred; AS with two years of business experience accepted
• Experience: Minimum two years of relevant business experience
• Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Responsibilities
• Manage trade settlements including disbursements and customer deductions
• Validate settlements, resolve discrepancies, and obtain necessary approvals
• Ensure settlements are completed within performance targets and system validations
• Collect and maintain supporting documentation for audit and reference
• Measure and report on program attainment and effectiveness
• Recover invalid customer deductions and reject unsupported claims
• Identify and secure program funding to support settlements
• Research and resolve pricing deductions across all US/C sales divisions
• Assist in resolving non-trade claims, particularly fines and fees
• Collaborate with Sales management to implement trade program payouts
• Focus approximately 90% on trade deduction processing and recovery; 10% on non-trade transactions and pricing claims
