Position: Finance Supervisor
Salary: $55,000 annually + incentives
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico


Summary:
The Finance Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the management of the organization’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budget preparation, audit management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role supports the Comptroller in maintaining the integrity of the organization’s financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely records, and supervising accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Comptroller in overseeing financial operations and maintaining strong internal controls.
• Supervise accounting staff to ensure proper execution of the full accounting cycle.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and monitoring.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
• Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and identify process improvements.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with business objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in the full accounting cycle, including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Total Compensation Package:
• Base Salary: $55,000 annually
• Christmas Bonus: 3% of annual salary
• Annual Performance Bonus: Based on results
• Unused Sick Leave Payment: Up to 15 days per year, paid in December
• Medical & Dental Plan: Family coverage with low employee contribution
• 401(k) Plan: Company matches half of employee contribution, up to 2% of annual salary
• Life Insurance: Provided at no cost
• Sick Leave: 15 days annually
• Vacation Leave: 15 days annually
• Holidays: ~14 days annually
