Position Title: Finance Associate
Salary: $55,000 annually
Location: San Juan, PR
Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Finance Associate to support strategic financial planning and drive business decision-making through insightful analysis and control. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and supporting operational and commercial leaders to maximize financial performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with business leaders to guide decision-making while ensuring financial discipline and resource optimization.
• Lead the consolidation process for budgets and forecasts, and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Develop and monitor OPEX, CAPEX, and Working Capital saving projects.
• Establish corporate financial policies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Oversee administrative procedures and corporate policy compliance.
• Monitor and analyze expenses and revenues vs. budget, forecast, historicals, and benchmarks.
• Build cash flow projections and conduct financial evaluations for business initiatives.
• Generate business performance reports using tools such as Power BI.
Key Outcomes:
• Ensure compliance with corporate procedures and policies, mitigating operational risks.
• Align management control processes with corporate standards.
• Support strategic planning and alert the business to financial risks in income and cash flow.
• Drive financial recovery through cost-saving and efficiency strategies.
• Accelerate the cash conversion cycle.
• Foster a culture of financial analysis and accountability across departments.
• Track and analyze business KPIs and prepare actionable reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, performance metrics, and business partnering.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP.
• Strong financial reporting and forecasting experience, with proven ability to synthesize relevant data.
• Structured thinking, high attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
