To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Perform comprehensive inspections on complex machined parts to verify their conformity to specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
•
Reviews work center load to determine next assignment and logs into selected work order.
•
Selects the required gages per the Final Inspection Plan (FIP) and sets up the workstation prior to performing the inspection.
•
Utilize various precision measuring tools to perform dimensional checks, tolerance measurements, and functional tests on critical aerospace parts.
•
Inspects parts within the established time standards per the work center load.
•
Understanding ANSI Y14.5 symbology, engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, GD&T, and work instructions.
•
Follow job step process: WIP moves, complete quantity accept/reject, and create NCMRs if parts don’t conform.
•
Verify that inspection reports are legible, accurate, and complete, i.e., work order number, serial number, revision, dimension results, check methods, quantity, Final Inspection Plan (FIP) report, inspector/s name/stamp, etc.
