Election Day- Polling Location Technician
Election Days: June 9th and June 23rd
Greenville, SC (various polling locations)
Election Day Pay: $16.57/hour plus $0.725 per mile reimbursement
Training Pay:
$60 flat rate for training attendance
Training Dates: June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (must attend one session)
Position Overview:
We are seeking dependable and technically skilled individuals to support polling locations during upcoming election events. This role will travel between multiple polling sites throughout the day to assist with equipment troubleshooting and technical support.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently, traveling between locations, and resolving basic technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel between approximately five polling locations throughout Election Day
• Troubleshoot and assist with voting equipment issues onsite
• Provide in-person technical support to polling staff
• Maintain professionalism while working in public-facing environments
• Communicate updates and issues clearly to the support team as needed
Qualifications:
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Comfortable providing hands-on equipment support
• Reliable transportation required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass driving record background check
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
